Spotlighting Innovation for Homeland Security: Strategic R&D Webinar Series

Purpose

‍HSWERX, in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Technology Transfer & Commercialization Branch (T2C), will host a series of webinars to highlight priority research areas for DHS. Informed by the Department’s FY 2024-2030 Innovation, Research, and Development (IRD) Strategic Plan, the webinars will feature presentations from academia, national laboratories, industry, and non-profits on their research and capabilities aligned with each priority research area. This webinar series will allow industry participants to hear directly from DHS representatives about their priority needs and engage with other innovation ecosystem members.

Kick-Off Webinar

The kick-off webinar will feature key DHS stakeholders to introduce the IRD Strategic Plan and its core research areas. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions about the plan. This foundational session will pave the way for a series of monthly webinars, each one showcasing innovative capabilities within a specific IRD research area.
